Sweden-based security solutions firm inks Oceania distie deal with SensaTek

24 May 2018

Sweden-based cybersecurity solutions provider Clavister has chosen SensaTek to be its Australian distributor, which will sell Clavister products to channel partners across Oceania. Its operating system mitigates known security vulnerabilities that plague other platforms. It also offers firewalls and virtual next-gen firewalls, WiFi Access Gateways, antivirus, multi-factor authentication, and user access management systems to form a complete network security ecosystem.

"We offer a range of tier one products and services, with a focus on security, networking, wireless, automation and other offerings and in this context we couldn't think of a better cybersecurity solution than Clavister to offer our customers," comments SensaTek district account executive Claus Mauer.

"Clavister's resource efficiency, outstanding performance and innovation is the perfect network security tool that we've been looking for," Mr. Mauer adds.

SensaTek will keep a sales focus on Australia, but will also distribute Clavister’s solutions to Oceania to help Clavister expand in the region. In addition to security solutions, SensaTek also distributes IoT and automation solutions.

Clavister says the contract forms part of its growth plan, where it will rely on competent channel partners to help global expansion of sales.

The company also says that with SensaTek, it now has an entry into the Oceania cybersecurity market and access to a ‘vast amount of resellers’.

"Having a new distributor in the Asia-Pacific region with a strong base in Australia is a welcome development which is in line with our global sales and channel growth strategy,” adds Clavister vice president of enterprise sales, Andreas Åsander.

“SensaTek has an experienced team who will integrate Clavister's products and services into their end-to-end offering; we are looking forward to growing our business in this region thanks to this relationship.”

Clavister was founded in Sweden in 1997. The company is a member of Intel’s Network Builders program, a cross-industry initiative.

“Clavister is a network security vendor delivering a full range of network security solutions for both physical and virtualized environments,” a statement on the company’s website says.

“Our network security solutions are used by a wide range of organizations throughout the world, including mobile and network security solutions for large enterprises, cloud service providers and telecom operators. Our product portfolio demonstrates world-class performance, flexibility and robustness.”
