Nuvola & Certis tie up on predictive security tech

Wed, 25th Feb 2026

Nuvola Media has agreed a technology integration partnership with Certis, as the Singapore security services group adds Nuvola's visualisation, analytics and simulation software to its security operations tooling.

The integration combines Nuvola's real-time, data-driven platform with Certis' security operational intelligence system. Certis operates across Singapore, Australia, Hong Kong, Macau and Qatar, providing security and integrated services to public and private sector customers.

Certis plans to use the integration to present operational information in a consolidated view for customers running high-activity and critical sites. The combined set-up covers security activities, workforce deployment, access points, environmental conditions and incident data, according to the announcement.

Operational View

Certis has built its service offerings around security operations and facilities monitoring, combining inputs from access control systems, sensors and Internet of Things data with other day-to-day site management streams.

The integration links Nuvola's visualisation, simulation and analytics layer with Certis' Mozart platform. Certis described the result as a single view operators can use to manage assets and operational activity across complex environments.

Nuvola's Synoptic Intelligence Platform ingests data from multiple systems and displays it in a unified dashboard, which Nuvola describes as a "single pane of data". It also includes scenario testing and simulation, and supports monitoring of facility and security performance.

Nuvola said the move responds to the growing volume and variety of data used in physical security operations as organisations add more sensors and connected systems.

"As physical security becomes more data driven, the security management environment becomes more challenging, where technology and data will play an increasingly important role in ensuring physical security. Organisations need real-time data to improve situational awareness and enable predictive, actionable insights in order to mitigate and manage security threats and contingencies," said Felix Tan, Chief Executive Officer, Nuvola Media.

Nuvola said the platform's simulation features can be used to test scenarios and predict disruptions, and to coordinate responses and allocate resources across a site.

Wider Footprint

Nuvola describes itself as an agentic AI solutions provider focused on urban planning and management. It said its platform supports managing, designing and simulating urban spaces and resources, and brings together data from both legacy and newer infrastructure.

Typical inputs include sensors, IoT devices, building systems and video analytics. Nuvola also said the product can be deployed as an interactive digital twin for use cases including security and mobility, as well as operational efficiency and utility cost reduction.

Certis is a Singapore-headquartered security and integrated services company with historical links to the Singapore Police Force. Its portfolio spans physical and aviation security, cybersecurity, cash management, facilities management and outsourcing for critical operations.

In recent years, Certis has invested in technology-led security operations, using data and automation to coordinate resources, monitor sites and manage incidents alongside traditional guarding and physical security tasks.

The partnership adds another integration to that approach, with Nuvola's platform providing additional visualisation and simulation. The stated aim is a consolidated operating picture for security teams managing multiple systems.

"By integrating our platform with Certis' security and operational systems, organisations gain the unified view of assets and activities through data and scenario simulation, enabling faster, improved response, and more proactive risk management," said Tan.

Certis and Nuvola framed the deal as part of a broader shift in the security industry towards more predictive operations. They said the combined tooling brings together incident information and environmental signals with access and workforce data in a single operational view.

"Through this collaboration, Nuvola Media and Certis are demonstrating how integrated data, visual intelligence, and predictive analytics can strengthen security operations while improving efficiency. Together, we are defining the security industry's long-term goals for proactive, predictive, smart security operations to secure assets, protect people, and ultimately enhance resilience," said Tan.
