Insight named emerging leader in Gartner guide for generative AI

Wed, 1st Oct 2025

Insight has been recognised as an Emerging Leader in the 2025 Gartner Innovation Guide for Generative AI Consulting and Implementation Services.

The company's role as an AI solutions integrator is the focus of the recognition, which underlines efforts to help organisations in Australia and the wider Asia Pacific region progress from artificial intelligence pilot projects to secure, ethical, and enterprise-scale generative AI deployments.

The Gartner Innovation Guide evaluates consultancies and service providers offering generative AI advisory and implementation services, and designates 'Emerging Leaders' according to market visibility, service features, and growth potential. According to Gartner,

"Emerging Leaders typically possess visibility within the market as well as both strong features and future potential. Their size and financial strength enable them to remain viable in a fast-moving and evolving market. Emerging Leaders typically respond to a wide market audience by supporting broad market requirements."

Insight's strategic approach consists of advisory, infrastructure services, and managed solutions, aiming to deliver measurable outcomes and help clients overcome common barriers to AI adoption, such as security, scalability, and responsible implementation. The company reported strong Net Promoter Scores, suggesting high client satisfaction with its AI services across the region.

The 2025 Gartner report noted that generative AI consulting and implementation services allow enterprises to deploy tailored AI solutions optimally, covering areas such as speed, cost, risk, and value. Insight sees its inclusion as reflecting broader market recognition of its generative AI service portfolio.

Mike Morgan, Senior Vice President & Managing Director for Insight in Asia Pacific, said the company's focus remains on helping clients navigate challenges around deploying AI in real-world settings.

"We are honoured to be named in Gartner's Innovation Guide for Generative AI Consulting and Implementation Services. We believe this recognition reinforces our position as an AI-first solutions integrator. As organisations across Asia Pacific accelerate AI adoption, our mission is to help them navigate complexity - from strategy through to secure, ethical deployment - so they are able to unlock real value and accelerate transformation."

Insight's consulting services prioritise responsible and ethical AI application, and leverage a partner ecosystem including cloud providers and platform vendors. The company's end-to-end service strategy is designed to ensure that clients deploy generative AI across their IT systems in a coordinated manner, covering concerns from governance and user adoption to managing costs and avoiding unforeseen charges.

Several client case studies demonstrate deployments supported by Insight. Petbarn, a retailer in Australia's pet care sector, has launched an AI-powered assistant called PetAI using Insight's services in collaboration with Microsoft. Integrated into the Petbarn website and app, the tool uses Microsoft Azure AI and draws on specialist veterinary knowledge from Greencross Pet Wellness Company to provide personalised advice and product suggestions. According to the companies, this solution has enabled more tailored digital interactions for customers and improved operational processes for the retailer.

Another reported project involves yourtown's Kids Helpline, which partnered with Insight and Microsoft to implement a Dynamics 365 Contact Centre solution using Azure OpenAI. The platform is designed to host over 200 counsellors and has contributed to a reduction in administrative wrap‐up time for counsellors by up to 70 percent. This, in turn, has allowed more young people to access helpline services and reinforced support continuity for thousands of contacts each year.

Insight states that its ongoing goal is to help organisations unify business strategy, technological infrastructure, and secure data practices, with the aim of achieving digital transformation through generative AI technologies.
