EPIC Cloud selects Radware for AI-powered application security

Thu, 21st Aug 2025

Radware and EPIC Cloud Company have entered into a managed security service provider agreement to deliver managed, AI-powered cloud application protection services.

Under this arrangement, EPIC Cloud is incorporating Radware's Cloud Application Protection Services into its suite of managed offerings in a move designed to enhance security for its customer base.

EPIC Cloud is a Taiwanese cloud service provider focusing on enterprise applications, cloud reliability hosting and maintenance, information security management and control, and project software development. The company sought to strengthen the protection of its cloud-based platform by partnering with an established security vendor.

"Our focus is on helping our customers drive digital innovation in the cloud while keeping their applications available and protecting their data," said Jay Jiang, Product Manager from EPIC Cloud. "We selected Radware as our partner because of their reputation for industry leading application security services and how they enable us to deliver fully managed protection without technical build out or operational lift."

Through the partnership, EPIC Cloud customers will have access to a comprehensive set of application security solutions via a single platform. Radware's Cloud Application Protection Service encompasses a web application firewall, bot detection and management, API protection, client-side protection, and application-layer distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) protection.

The agreement enables EPIC Cloud to offer these protections in a managed service format, targeting organisations that require robust, up-to-date security without dedicating additional internal resources for infrastructure or technical development.

"Our MSSP model is designed to help our partners quickly meet their customers' increasing expectations for advanced AI-powered, cyber defense technologies without having to make infrastructure investments," said Missy Huang, Radware's Country Manager in Taiwan. "We look forward to working with EPIC Cloud in reducing security risks for their customers as they face the dual pressure of shrinking security teams and a rapidly growing threat surface."

Radware's service provision in Taiwan features a cloud security service centre located in Taipei. This centre forms part of a wider international network with more than 50 locations, collectively supporting a mitigation capacity up to 15Tbps. The network assists organisations by optimising application response times for traffic within the region and shortening the window for mitigating attacks such as denial-of-service incidents, web application attacks, automated malicious bot traffic, and attacks targeting APIs.

Industry recognition for Radware's application and network security offerings has come from analysts including Aite-Novarica Group, Forrester, Gartner, KuppingerCole, and QKS Group.

EPIC Cloud's expertise spans areas such as cloud-driven digital transformation, consulting, and software development, supporting platforms including Google Cloud and AWS. The company assists organisations in deploying cloud technologies with a focus on enhanced data analytics and machine learning capabilities.

Radware delivers application security and delivery solutions for multi-cloud environments globally. Its service offering employs AI-driven algorithms to deliver real-time protection against a range of web, application, DDoS, API abuse, and bot attacks, with a focus on helping customers address evolving cybersecurity issues while controlling operational costs.
