Cleanverse launches Labs & ClevrGo for verified finance

Cleanverse has launched Cleanverse Labs and introduced ClevrGo. The new unit will incubate on-chain finance products from its developer community.
The launch follows Cleanverse's inaugural hackathon, which drew more than 50 developers working on verified finance projects in global payments and agent trading. Supported by Monad Foundation, the event will feed into the incubation of the top three solutions from each challenge category.
Cleanverse Labs is a dedicated hub for developers building financial applications that embed compliance controls directly into transactions. The programme will back teams developing products designed to operate between verified users or entities and use assets verified by licensed institutions.
The first product to emerge from the new unit is ClevrGo, selected from the winning team at the hackathon. The platform is built on the Cleanverse Compliance Protocol, which links identity checks, asset verification and programmable compliance rules in on-chain transactions.
At launch, ClevrGo includes two products: ClevrGo Card, an on-chain card for users who complete identity verification, and ClevrGo Pay, which lets individuals and merchants send and receive verified money through the card or QR payments.
Incubation model
Under the labs structure, selected teams will receive support including technical guidance, access to Cleanverse Labs infrastructure, product development help, introductions within its ecosystem and opportunities to pilot their applications. The first cohort will focus on payment tools, transaction flows with embedded compliance controls and AI-agent trading products operating within defined governance and verification rules.
The initiative is intended to move projects beyond hackathon development into commercial deployment within Cleanverse's network. Cleanverse Labs is positioning the model as a way to turn early-stage on-chain finance ideas into products that can be used in markets where identity, traceability and oversight are required.
At the centre of the system is the Cleanverse Compliance Protocol, or CCP. The framework combines Cleanverse Verified Identity and Cleanverse Verified Assets so checks are built into transfers before value moves between participants.
The approach reflects a wider push across digital finance to address regulatory concerns around stablecoins, tokenised assets and automated financial services. Firms across the sector have increasingly focused on mechanisms that verify counterparties and assets while preserving the speed and programmability of blockchain-based transactions.
For Cleanverse Labs, the labs launch also marks an attempt to broaden its role from infrastructure provider to incubator. By selecting projects from its developer ecosystem and offering ongoing support, it is seeking to shape applications that fit its model of verified on-chain activity.
One stated aim is to support a transition from traditional finance systems to decentralised finance structures without removing checks tied to regulated markets. That includes applications in which all participants hold verified financial identities and the assets involved have been authenticated by licensed institutions.
Ceridwen Choo outlined the purpose of the new unit in comments released alongside the launch. "Cleanverse Labs is our commitment to ensuring that the ideas generated through our developer community do not end at the hackathon stage," said Ceridwen Choo, CEO and Co-founder, Cleanverse.
She also addressed the company's focus on controls in blockchain-based finance.
"We want to support builders who are solving one of the most important challenges in onchain finance: how to embed trust, compliance and institutional-grade controls directly into financial applications before value moves," said Choo.
More than 50 developers took part in the first hackathon, which centred on verified finance use cases. ClevrGo is the first live example of how products developed through that process can move into incubation under the new structure.
