Dixon joins Verkada from Cloudflare, where he served as Vice President and Managing Director for Asia Pacific, Japan, and Greater China. His career also includes significant leadership roles at Amazon Web Services (AWS), Cisco, and IBM, where he gained experience leading the multi-billion dollar Enterprise Business Segment.

I'm excited to grow and evolve Verkada's footprint in JAPAC and ultimately enable more organizations in the region to leverage cutting-edge technology to protect their people and places in a privacy-sensitive way."

Verkada has established a considerable presence in the region, with organisations such as City Beach, the Chiba Lotte Marines, Brighton Grammar School, and Heinemann Australia employing its security solutions. The firm has further strengthened its regional footprint by partnering with integrators and installers like Focus Digital Security Solutions, Field Solutions Holdings, LG CNS, and Takachiho Koheki.

Verkada is involved in the cloud-based physical security industry, providing an integrated software platform that includes video security cameras, access control, environmental sensors, alarms, workplace management, and intercom systems.
