Veeam Software, a leading entity in Data Protection and Ransomware Recovery, has announced the promotion of Macro Zhang to the position of Vice President of Channel Strategy for the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) region. Previously serving as the Vice President of Sales, China, Zhang steps up to fill the shoes of Belinda Jurisic, who moves into her new role as the worldwide Vice President of Veeam's Sales Development Representative (SDR) organisation.

Jurisic's distinguished experience equips her aptly to lead the new team, the target of which is continual modernisation of Veeam's sales and marketing strategy. Her guidance is anticipated to pave the way for Veeam's worldwide approach, while fostering the maturation of premier teams.

Zhang brings to the table almost three decades of experience working with various global technology companies like Citrix, Intel, and Juniper Networks. Having devoted over six and a half years to Veeam China, during which he established the business virtually singlehandedly, Zhang is more than equipped for his new position. His leadership journey includes pioneering a cloud-based desktop service company, an experience that he can proficiently utilise to support Veeam's channel partners in the APJ region.
