Trustwave launches new Microsoft Security Accelerators

Yesterday

Trustwave has announced the launch of two new Microsoft Security Accelerators aimed at helping organisations enhance their security maturity and discover cost-saving opportunities.

The newly launched offerings are the Accelerator for Microsoft Purview and the Accelerator for Microsoft Entra ID. These additions to Trustwave's Microsoft Security accelerator programme are designed to provide businesses with clear and actionable roadmaps, thereby maximising the utility of their Microsoft Security technologies.

The Accelerator for Microsoft Purview is tailored to assist organisations in optimising value and security outputs derived from Microsoft Purview. This programme reviews sensitive information types and data sensitivity labels, while evaluating strategies for more effective protection of sensitive information.

On the other hand, the Accelerator for Microsoft Entra ID focuses on improving identity and access management. It offers a roadmap for optimising security results from Microsoft Entra ID, including assessments of authentication mechanisms and evaluations of device and application management capabilities to maintain a solid security stance.

Jesse Emerson, Senior Vice President of Product Management & Solutions Engineering at Trustwave, stated, "These new accelerators represent Trustwave's continued commitment to helping organisations strengthen their Microsoft Security environment." He added, "As businesses increasingly rely on Microsoft solutions, these accelerators enable them to rapidly mature their security capabilities, improve compliance, and uncover new opportunities for operational efficiencies and cost savings."

The latest offerings join Trustwave's existing range of Microsoft Security Accelerators. These include the Accelerator for Microsoft Defender XDR, which focuses on enhancing configurations and reducing redundancies; the Accelerator for Microsoft Sentinel, which evaluates data sources to optimise costs and augment value; and the Accelerator for Microsoft Security Copilot, which helps in identifying effective use cases for improved security operations.

Trustwave states that its expert consultants work alongside organisations to analyse specific needs, identify gaps, and recommend actions to optimise their security stance. By adopting one or more Trustwave Microsoft Security Accelerators, organisations can benefit from expert guidance, improved visibility in security and compliance, cost optimisation, tailored workshops, and comprehensive plans for increasing security maturity.

Trustwave utilises a three-step approach for each accelerator: Discovery, which involves understanding the current Microsoft Security environment; Analysis, which reviews data and configurations to assess security posture; and Reporting, which provides a detailed roadmap with suggested recommendations, along with workshops for deeper exploration of security topics.

Upon completion of this process, Trustwave can support the implementation of recommended changes to an organisation's Microsoft Security environment.
