SailPoint Peer Insights Choice for identity management
Thu, 2nd Apr 2020
FYI, this story is more than a year old

IdentityIQ by SailPoint Technologies has been recognised as the 2020 Gartner Peer Insights Customers' Choice for Identity Governance - Administration (IGA).

The Gartner Peer Insights Customers' Choice distinction recognises the vendors who are the most highly rated by their customers through a series of customer-submitted reviews.

This year, SailPoint is the sole vendor to receive the Customers' Choice distinction for the IGA market.

The Gartner Peer Insights Customers' Choice distinction is based entirely on feedback and ratings from end-users who have purchased, implemented or used IGA solutions like SailPoint's Identity Platform.

As of January 31, 2020, SailPoint has an overall rating of 4.5 out of 5 in the Identity Governance and Administration market based on 93 reviews – the most of any other IGA vendor - in the last 12 months.

SailPoint is also recognised as a leader in the analyst report, 2019 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Identity Governance and Administration.

"We are fanatically focused on our customers. It is embedded into our company DNA and continues to be a huge focus for us across all areas of the business," says SailPoint customer success senior vice president Meredith Blanchar.

"We believe this distinction is, of course, a significant proof point underscoring our commitment to customer success. But perhaps more importantly, to us, this distinction comes directly from our customers who took the time to provide a written evaluation of their work with us, which speaks volumes. We exist to ensure our customers' success at every stage of their identity journey. We believe this distinction shows that, without a doubt, we are the customer choice for IGA today."

To qualify for the ‘Customers' Choice distinction, Gartner requires vendors to receive a higher overall rating among the eligible reviews received than the overall mean rating for the market and vendors must receive more than the required 50+ eligible reviews in a one-year time period (across organisations of varying sizes and industries).

This Customers' Choice distinction is accompanied by a "Voice of the Customer" report that synthesises Gartner Peer Insights' reviews for the previous year into insights for IT decision-makers.

One review from a finance business analyst states, “We were able to get much deeper insight into the accounts and privileges on our IT systems. Furthermore we were able to provide users with a self-service interface from IdentityIQ through which they are able to request access rights. This had to be done manually before."
