Proofpoint & Concentrix deepen Asia Pacific cyber push
Proofpoint has struck a strategic partnership with Concentrix across Asia Pacific to integrate Proofpoint's collaboration security and data protection products into Concentrix Security Operations Centre (SOC) services.
The agreement covers enterprises and small and medium-sized businesses across the region. Concentrix will deliver services based on Proofpoint's human- and agent-centric security platform through its SOC operations and managed services teams.
The partnership comes as organisations in Asia Pacific expand cloud use and introduce AI-driven workflows. Security teams report a rise in attacks that target staff and digital communications, not just infrastructure.
Proofpoint pointed to its 2025 Voice of the CISO report, which found heightened concern among regional security leaders. It reported that 80% of CISOs in Asia Pacific believe their organisation faces a risk of a material cyberattack in the next 12 months. The report also found that 75% of CISOs in the region reported losing sensitive data in the past year, compared with a global average of 66%.
Service integration
Under the partnership, Concentrix will add Proofpoint collaboration security and data protection offerings to its SOC portfolio. Collaboration security typically addresses threats delivered through messaging and shared-work platforms, including account compromise and malicious links. Data protection focuses on preventing unauthorised sharing and reducing data loss through monitoring and policy controls.
Both companies said the combined offering will help customers improve cyber resilience. They will also take a coordinated go-to-market approach across key Asia Pacific markets, focusing on deployment and ongoing operational management of Proofpoint tools through Concentrix services.
The arrangement reflects a broader shift towards managed detection and response and managed security services, as customers rely on specialist providers to run parts of their security operations. Large organisations continue to build in-house teams, but skills shortages and the need for round-the-clock monitoring have increased demand for outsourced SOC functions.
Regional focus
Proofpoint said the partnership supports its continued investment in Asia Pacific and its strategy of working with partners in regulated markets. Businesses in sectors such as financial services, healthcare, telecommunications and government face growing compliance requirements for data handling and breach response. Cross-border operations can also complicate incident management and reporting.
Concentrix is best known for customer experience and business services delivered at scale. In recent years, it has expanded its technology services footprint to include security operations and governance, risk and compliance. The partnership adds a named cybersecurity vendor relationship to that regional portfolio.
Nelson Soon, Vice President of Channels and Alliances for Asia Pacific and Japan at Proofpoint, said the agreement extends Proofpoint's regional reach through SOC services.
"We are excited to partner with Concentrix and be able to extend Proofpoint's offerings through trusted SOC services across Asia Pacific."
Soon said the partnership combines Proofpoint technology with Concentrix service delivery across the region.
"By this innovative approach to combine Proofpoint's industry-leading human- and agent-centric security platform with Concentrix's services expertise and strong regional footprint, we can deliver meaningful security outcomes that support cyber resilience and business growth."
Rishi Rajpal, Global Vice President, Governance, Risk & Compliance at Concentrix, said the agreement supports the company's expansion in managed services.
"Concentrix is strengthening its managed services capabilities through a strategic partnership with Proofpoint. By combining Proofpoint's people-centric security platform with our deep regional expertise, we enable enterprises to neutralize emerging threats and accelerate digital transformation with absolute confidence."
Market context
Cybersecurity vendors have increasingly focused on people-centric controls as attackers exploit email, collaboration tools and cloud applications for initial access and fraud. Many organisations have also reviewed data-sharing controls as staff adopt AI tools and automate workflows involving sensitive information.
Proofpoint markets its platform as protection for people and digital communications across email, cloud and collaboration tools. The company said it works with more than 80 of the Fortune 100 and more than 10,000 large enterprises, alongside smaller organisations.
Concentrix is a Fortune 500 company listed on Nasdaq. It said it serves more than 2,000 clients across more than 70 markets and has been building service lines beyond customer experience management through its security operations and governance, risk and compliance teams.
The companies said they will jointly go to market across Asia Pacific, with Concentrix delivering SOC services that incorporate Proofpoint collaboration security and data protection products.
