Prominent line-up of speakers announced for IBC Cyber Security Forum

IBC has announced the line-up of speakers for its upcoming and exclusive event on Cyber Security.
The invitation-only event is part of the new C-Tech Forum launched this year and is to be held on the 15th of September.
According to IBC, business who attend will be privy to the latest insights into the threats posed from cyberattacks, including the most common risks and how to mitigate them.
Delegates will also gain intuition into how embracing and maintaining an effective cybersecurity policy can provide competitive advantages in the marketplace.
In regards to the line-up of speakers, some of the big names include executives from ITV, Sky, News Corp, Google and HBO – key speakers include:

Director of the Technology Management Office at ITV Plc, Paul Lynch says it is an incredibly important issue that businesses must ensure that they’re on top of.
“With such a broad range of risks and vulnerabilities to manage, comprehensive monitoring and analysis of network and device behaviour alongside well practiced incident playbooks are critical to the defense of any broadcast company,” says Lynch.
Acting as an entrée to the Cyber Security Forum, IBC will also be hosting a webinar titled “Broadcast under attack: Protecting content and defending infrastructure” on July 20th at 16.00 GMT.
IBC affirms the webinar will delve into high-profile attacks on broadcast and media players and how they’re on the rise, including what the threat landscape currently looks like as well as highlighting what the new attack surfaces are and how broadcasters and media companies should approach cyber security.
