NetSPI unveils unified platform bolstering proactive cybersecurity
Global proactive security company, NetSPI, has announced its new unified platform. This announcement comes as a response to growing needs for proactive security and the anticipated increase in AI-driven ransomware attacks, the company states. The platform is designed to efficiently manage exposure and risk-assessment issues. Through incorporating AI and automation, businesses are set to be empowered by addressing their own security vulnerabilities proactively.
This unified platform includes Penetration Testing as a Service (PTaaS), Attack Surface Management (ASM), and Breach and Attack Simulation (BAS). It offers more clarity, speed, and scale than ever before, in addressing exposure management and risk assessment troubles. The platform will enable customers to act proactively with regards to their cybersecurity needs.
NetSPI has also updated its corporate positioning, visual branding, and the overall experience of its website, reflecting its ever-growing role and impact in the cybersecurity industry. As a trusted partner for protecting the critical assets of major global brands, including 90% of the top U.S. banks, this approach underscores a pivotal moment in NetSPI's commitment to proactive cybersecurity.
Vinay Anand, the Chief Product Officer at NetSPI, spoke about the new platform in detail stating, "Businesses must have a more holistic, accurate understanding of their risk profile to keep pace with the rate of innovation. The NetSPI Platform helps customers gain visibility to their IT estate, identify the vulnerabilities that exist, and prioritize remediation. But what's most exciting is the telemetry we've built between the technology and the treasure trove of insights from our experience in the industry. We've created interlocks between product and services to become a force multiplier for our security experts to uncover greater outcomes for our customers."
Bill Jaeger, the Chief Product Security Officer at Lenovo Infrastructure Solutions Group, also commented on the platform, "NetSPI's vision for proactive security and the platform align with the most urgent challenges our industry is facing: visibility and prioritization of assets, vulnerabilities, and exposures. Lenovo's relationship with NetSPI started with penetration testing and continues to scale as an integral part of our product security program."
Jaeger also appreciated the added value of having a partner like NetSPI, stating that they are helping Lenovo to secure their most critical customer-centric services through pre-release vulnerability discovery, operational attack surface management, and exposure insights.
Later this year, customers can expect additions to the platform in the form of enhanced risk prioritisation and exposure management capabilities. Aaron Shilts, CEO at NetSPI confirmed that these improvements and the unification of all NetSPI proactive security solution on a single platform will strengthen the company's ability to develop and deliver new products faster.
Shilts spoke of his pride in NetSPI's transformation from traditional point-in-time penetration testing to true proactive security, stating, "We are the proactive security solution used to secure the most trusted brands on Earth, and every decision we've made around the platform and new brand reflects this. Gone are the days of using fear tactics to drive business. Our focus is all about trust. We help security leaders protect the trust they've worked so hard to build – we are their allies in the battle for trust."
