FYI, this story is more than a year old

Security intelligence company LogRhythm has appointed a new director of sales for the Asia-Pacific region (APAC), with Simon Howe taking up the Sydney-based position.

Howe has 20 years' experience in the IT industry and originally joined LogRhythm from Acronis where he was APAC mobility solutions sales director.

He originally joined LogRhythm more than four years ago as director of sales for Australia and New Zealand (ANZ), where LogRhythm says he was able to help propel the organisation's market presence in conjunction with distributor and reseller partners.

He has also previously served as national sales manager at CommVault and worked at Symantec in several sales and account management roles.

In this new role, Howe will work to further the LogRhythm's success throughout the Asia Pacific region, supporting customers to maximise their investment in LogRhythm.

On his appointment, Howe says, “I am excited and look forward to working closely with new and current customers to optimise their cybersecurity footing and our delivery capabilities in helping address the ongoing security needs of our customers.” LogRhythm is a global provider of NextGen SIEM and works with organisations to reduce risk by rapidly detecting, responding to and neutralising damaging cyber threats.

The company is headquartered in Boulder, Colorado, but has offices in Sydney, Brazil, Germany, Hong Kong, Mexico, UAE, Singapore, The Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
