LogRhythm, a company aiding security teams prevent breaches by transforming disconnected data and signals into reliable insights, has announced the appointment of Joanne Wong as its Interim Chief Marketing Officer.

Over the past nine years, Wong has amassed vast experience while driving successful marketing initiatives at LogRhythm. She has now taken the mantle to direct the company's global brand and marketing strategy, taking into consideration substantial collaboration with sales to grow pipelines, enhance brand visibility, and stimulate customer satisfaction. She will report directly to the President and CEO of LogRhythm, Christopher O'Malley, and will also join the executive leadership team.

Christopher O'Malley discussed the new appointment, stating, "Joanne's strategic mindset and proven ability to deliver growth at scale will be critical assets to a revitalised LogRhythm. As we continue to innovate, Joanne will play an integral role in leading the future of LogRhythm's brand and connecting us with our customers in meaningful ways that drive accelerated growth for our security solutions."

Joanne Wong expressed her excitement about her ascension, saying, "I am both thrilled and proud to step up as the Chief Marketing Officer. LogRhythm is a company with both a strong legacy and great potential in the SIEM market, as well as a great culture where every professional can thrive. It is an honour to lead the charge in shaping our brand's story globally, and I look forward to working with our talented teams across the world in our pursuit of making security easy for our customers."

Wong started her journey with LogRhythm in Asia Pacific, establishing its regional headquarters in Singapore. Before her new role, she served as the Vice President of International Markets, overseeing Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) and Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) regions. With a background in law, Wong has spent over 25 years building her career in the technology sector.

Aside from her corporate role, Wong remains an ardent advocate for gender equality and diversity in the technology sector. She was an initiating member of LogRhythm's Global Diversity Council and spearheaded initiatives to ensure workplace inclusivity within the company. She was recognised as a finalist for the Women in Security ASEAN Region Awards and the Channel Asia Women in ICT Awards under the Achievement Category in 2023.

Her new appointment strengthens LogRhythm's executive team and underlines the company’s commitment to fostering a workplace which values diverse backgrounds and presents equal opportunities for all. As LogRhythm marks International Women's Day, it continues its commitment to create an environment that values and leverages the unique contributions of each of its employees.
