LevelBlue & Tenable expand exposure tools for partners

Fri, 6th Mar 2026

LevelBlue has launched Exposure Management for Partners and expanded its work with Tenable, targeting managed security service providers (MSSPs) and managed service providers (MSPs) that resell or run security operations for clients.

The package broadens vulnerability and exposure management options for partners and provides a structured path from basic vulnerability scanning to broader exposure management across multiple environments.

Broader coverage

Exposure management has grown beyond traditional vulnerability scanning. Security teams increasingly track risk across cloud infrastructure, identity systems, operational technology environments, web applications, and internet-facing assets. Many organisations still rely on multiple point tools, which can create coverage gaps and slow remediation.

LevelBlue is positioning the partner offering as a response to that shift, with continuous visibility and richer risk context instead of periodic scans and separate reporting streams.

The service centres on Tenable technology and is offered as a maturity-based set of options. The entry level includes embedded vulnerability scanning; all USM Anywhere customers receive Nessus-based scanning with unlimited IP coverage and automated ingestion into the platform for unified analysis.

A second tier uses Tenable Vulnerability Management, with agent-based scanning, passive monitoring, expanded asset visibility, and advanced analytics.

Additional modules extend coverage to attack surface management and web application scanning. At the top end is Tenable One Exposure Management, positioned as a unified, risk-based platform for organisations that want broader exposure visibility and prioritisation.

Risk context

LevelBlue is also emphasising how data is handled and presented to client security teams. End clients get a consolidated view of vulnerabilities and exposures, with risk aligned to threat activity, asset importance, and broader environmental signals.

This approach is intended to speed identification of critical issues and improve remediation. Automated log ingestion and continuous scanning are presented as ways to surface critical exposures more quickly.

The offering also targets areas that have drawn increased attacker focus in recent years, including cloud environments, identity systems, and external attack surfaces. For many enterprises, these sit outside legacy vulnerability management programmes built mainly for on-premises endpoints and servers.

Partner economics

For MSSPs and MSPs, the announcement is framed as a way to expand services beyond scan-and-report models. Wider visibility and richer context are positioned as enabling vulnerability and exposure management services that scale with client maturity and extend across more asset types.

Partners often balance scale and customisation. A larger client base increases the volume of scanning data and remediation workflows to manage, while service providers still need a consistent way to prioritise risk across different environments and technology stacks.

LevelBlue's approach aims to provide standard building blocks partners can apply across customers. The structure also supports upselling as client needs move from periodic assessments to continuous monitoring and risk-based prioritisation.

Tenable has expanded beyond its original vulnerability scanning footprint in recent years, adding attack surface management, web application scanning, and broader exposure management that links weaknesses to likely attack paths and business risk.

Through the partnership with LevelBlue, those tools are being delivered through a managed services channel-an increasingly common route as organisations struggle to hire and retain cyber security staff and turn to outsourced operations, continuous monitoring, and managed remediation.

Exposure Management for Partners is available to LevelBlue's MSSP and MSP partner ecosystem through its partner channels.
