Konica Minolta wins Keypoint Intelligence awards for A3 MFPs

Today

Konica Minolta has received five accolades from Keypoint Intelligence, including the 2025 A3 Line of the Year Award and four individual BLI Pick Awards.

Keypoint Intelligence praised the comprehensive performance of Konica Minolta's A3 multifunctional print devices (MFPs), leading to the conferral of the 2025 A3 Line of the Year Award. The judges highlighted "superior performance during Keypoint Intelligence's testing across the broader A3 line" and noted that Konica Minolta offers a "fresh, broad portfolio with a strong feature set that can meet and exceed the needs of hybrid working environments." The cloud-enabled MFPs allow businesses the flexibility to print, scan, store, and access documents remotely, accommodating the demands of modern work patterns.

Pete Emory, Director of Research & Lab Services NA/APAC at Keypoint Intelligence, commented on the performance of Konica Minolta's A3 MFPs: "Our testing of Konica Minolta's latest A3 MFPs revealed exceptional and consistent performance across the lineup, whether it was the 30 ppm, 45 ppm, or 75 ppm, mono or colour models. From the outset, these copier-based devices impressed us with their simplified setup process and robust administrative capabilities, making fleet setup and management seamless. Once operational, the devices demonstrated outstanding efficiency, professional-looking print quality, and excellent usability. Walk-up experience is intuitive and consistent across the range—whether using the bizhub C301i or the C751i, Konica Minolta's design, performance, and user experience were indistinguishable."

The security features of Konica Minolta's devices were also acclaimed, with the awards emphasizing their "robust security offering to safeguard sensitive data and mitigate risk of unauthorized access to the device and network."

In addition to the A3 Line of the Year Award, the company received recognition for four specific models in the BLI Pick Awards 2025, namely, the bizhub C451i, bizhub C551i, bizhub C651i, and bizhub C751i. These devices were acknowledged for their productivity and responsiveness, as highlighted by Keypoint Intelligence, pointing out "faster-than-average job streams and first-print-out times make for highly productive devices in multi-user environments." The scan speeds, crucial for digitisation in hybrid working models, were also noted as a significant advantage.

Dean Hosking, Chief Sales Officer at Konica Minolta Business Solutions Australia, reflected on these achievements: "In today's evolving workplace, businesses need print devices that not only deliver productivity, usability, and high-quality results but also align with broader digital transformation goals. With hybrid working, these devices must offer seamless connectivity for document management and cloud services while providing robust security to protect against potential vulnerabilities in data management. Konica Minolta is proud to have these attributes recognised by Keypoint Intelligence, not just in individual devices but across our broader A3 product line."

The recognised products form part of Konica Minolta's latest generation of bizhub i-Series MFPs, which includes a total of 21 devices with a range covering both colour and monochrome options in different formats. This extensive portfolio focuses on addressing the contemporary workplace's security needs and ease-of-use expectations.
