Joey Lim appointed to lead Exclusive Networks’ Singapore growth

Thu, 30th Oct 2025

Exclusive Networks has appointed Joey Lim as Country Manager for Singapore, assigning her responsibility for driving business growth and expanding the company's market position.

Lim brings over 14 years of experience in technology distribution and channel development, having previously led Exclusive Networks' Singapore team and later managed the vendor alliance across Asia Pacific.

This appointment comes at a time when Exclusive Networks is accelerating investment and expansion efforts in the region, reflecting increasing demand for specialised cybersecurity solutions in Singapore's advanced digital economy.

Market context

Singapore's rapid adoption of digital technologies and government initiatives such as the National Quantum Strategy have generated opportunities for growth but have also intensified cybersecurity threats, particularly with the increasing deployment of artificial intelligence and cloud solutions. As a result, local organisations face a complex landscape marked by evolving risks and a fragmented market of technology options.

There is an industry-wide recognition of the need for trusted specialists to navigate and manage these complexities, simplifying solutions and providing technical expertise to strengthen business resilience.

Lim said her focus would be on enhancing the capacity of Exclusive Networks to serve Singapore's security market by building deeper technical skill sets and expanding service delivery.

"I am excited to return to Exclusive Networks during such a pivotal time. The new leadership team has a clear and ambitious vision to build a stronger, bigger organisation, and that opportunity to be a builder is what truly excites me," said Joey Lim, Country Manager for Singapore at Exclusive Networks.

She further commented on the challenges and opportunities in the market, explaining, "Singapore's market is more than just competitive; it's complex. Attack surfaces have expanded with cloud adoption, and customers face a dizzying array of choices with limited budgets. My focus is to move beyond traditional distribution by strengthening our technical skill sets and services delivery. We will be the go-to-market specialists that empower our partner ecosystem with the value and expertise needed to lead in this evolving security landscape."

Priorities and strategy

In her new position, Lim's priorities will include working with vendors to capitalise on growth opportunities in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, while also increasing the company's services and technical expertise for partners. She emphasised the importance of strengthening the partner ecosystem and focusing on a curated portfolio of established industry vendors.

Exclusive Networks' strategy includes moving beyond a purely distribution-based model. According to the company, this involves investing in the local team's capabilities, aiming to become an indispensable partner for navigating Singapore's highly competitive cybersecurity landscape, and facilitating increased adoption of AI and cloud security solutions among customers and partners.

Lim's appointment is one of several leadership moves intended to reinforce Exclusive Networks' Asia Pacific presence. This follows the hiring of Bennett Wong as Senior Vice President, APAC, and Renato Garcia as Country Manager for the Philippines.

Wong commented on Lim's appointment, highlighting the value her background brings to the role.

"We are delighted to welcome Joey back to lead our Singapore team. Her deep understanding of the distribution, partner, and vendor ecosystem is invaluable," said Bennett Wong, Senior Vice President, APAC at Exclusive Networks. "Joey's experience in building teams and executing strategy will be crucial as we scale our services and accelerate our vendors' go-to-market success. Her leadership is key to realising our mission of being the top-of-mind specialist for trusted digital infrastructure in high-growth markets like Singapore."

Leadership direction

Lim takes on her new responsibilities as Singapore's enterprise environment grows more complex. Her task will involve enabling deeper technical expertise within Exclusive Networks, collaborating across the channel to improve customer resilience and address skill shortages as local organisations confront more advanced technology threats, including AI-driven attacks and cloud data breaches.

The company also stated that its reinforced APAC leadership is designed to support its business objectives across the diverse markets in the region, aiming for greater alignment and resilience as the cybersecurity sector evolves.
