ITSEC Asia & Infinix partner on mobile cyber defence

Wed, 28th Jan 2026

ITSEC Asia has agreed a collaboration with smartphone maker Infinix to pre-install its IntelliBroń Aman mobile cybersecurity app on selected Infinix handsets in Indonesia.

The companies said IntelliBroń Aman will ship on the Infinix NOTE Edge 5G+ in Indonesia. They also plan availability on the upcoming Infinix NOTE 60.

ITSEC Asia said the deal marks its first move into the consumer market. The company has focused on enterprise and critical infrastructure work.

Mobile protection

ITSEC Asia described IntelliBroń Aman as an AI-powered cybersecurity product for everyday smartphone users. The company said it targets threats such as phishing, harmful links, unsafe websites, and suspicious connections.

The companies said the app runs in the background and blocks threats. They also said it issues real-time alerts and provides information on potential risks.

A signing ceremony in Jakarta confirmed the collaboration. Patrick Dannacher, President Director of ITSEC Asia, and Sergio Ticoalu, Head of Marketing Infinix Indonesia, attended.

"Cybersecurity will increasingly be measured by how well it protects not just organisations, but everyday people," said Patrick Dannacher, President Director, ITSEC Asia.

"By working with Infinix and launching IntelliBroń Aman through the Infinix ecosystem, we are expanding our impact into the consumer space at a meaningful scale. This is how we deliver cybersecurity that is practical, accessible, and built for real-world use, starting with Indonesia," said Dannacher.

Infinix positioned the collaboration as part of its approach to device security for local customers.

"At Infinix, we are committed to delivering technology that not only empowers users but also protects them. Through our collaboration with ITSEC Asia and the integration of IntelliBroń Aman on the Infinix NOTE Edge 5G+ and upcoming Infinix NOTE 60, we aim to enable a safer and more confident digital experience for smartphone users in Indonesia," said Ticoalu.

Rollout plans

The first phase focuses on Indonesia through the Infinix NOTE Edge 5G+. The companies set an initial target of up to 100,000 devices.

They said the implementation will proceed in stages. They cited technical integration readiness, regulatory considerations, and future device availability.

ITSEC Asia and Infinix also said they plan coordinated market activation and consumer education initiatives. They linked these activities to awareness and responsible digital hygiene.

Company direction

ITSEC Asia said it sees rising consumer exposure to cyber threats as Indonesia's digital adoption increases via mobile devices. The company described smartphones as the primary route for communication, commerce, and financial activity.

ITSEC Asia trades on the Indonesia Stock Exchange under the code CYBR. The company said it has more than 400 experts across Indonesia, Singapore, Australia, Mauritius, and Dubai.

In its corporate description, ITSEC Asia said it provides consulting, technology integration, and managed security services. It also said it has verification from BSSN and holds certifications including ISO 27001, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001, and membership of CREST.

Infinix said it was established in 2013 and sells products in more than 70 countries and regions. The company also sells devices beyond smartphones, including earbuds, smartwatches, laptops, tablets, and smart TVs.

Dannacher framed the partnership as part of the company's growth as a listed business.

"As a publicly listed company, we believe that growth must create real impact, beyond business results alone," said Dannacher.

"This partnership is only the beginning. Creating a safer digital future for Indonesia requires collaboration, and we are committed to building more meaningful partnerships moving forward," said Dannacher.
