FYI, this story is more than a year old

IronNet has expanded its presence in Asia Pacific with its new strategic partnership with M.Tech.

The provider of Collective Defense and network detection and response (NDR) states the partnership will address the growing demand for cybersecurity solutions to defend against sophisticated cyber threats in the region.

As enterprises advance their digital transformation initiatives, they require increased visibility into their threat landscape to drive the effectiveness of their cybersecurity investments, the company states.

M.Tech is one the largest cybersecurity and network performance solutions distributors in Asia that specialises in delivering best-of-breed products and solutions to meet critical IT needs, including advanced threat prevention and data-centric security for global customers, IronNet states.

M.Tech will extend IronDefense, IronNet's industry-leading network detection and response solution, and IronDome, the industry's first and only Collective Defense platform, to enterprises and reseller partners across their network in Australia and New Zealand, Southeast Asia, India and Taiwan.

M.Tech CEO Stanley Foo says, “As enterprises step up their digital transformation journey and ramp up their cyber defence capabilities, there's enormous opportunity for us to introduce IronNet's game-changing cybersecurity solutions to them.

“Our partnership with IronNet is a clear choice - IronNet is well-positioned to equip enterprises across the region to secure their network environments with best-in-class cyber defence capabilities and defend against the most urgent threats.

According to IronNet, this latest partnership aligns with the company's global expansion strategy.

IronNet vice president of Asia Pacific and Japan Gaurav Chhiber says, “We are laser focused on ensuring that enterprises reap the most out of their cybersecurity investments with the power of Collective Defense.

“The combination of M.Tech's extensive network in Asia Pacific and our unparalleled expertise in threat intelligence and detection will help more enterprises across the region to proactively identify and take down known and unknown threats before they happen.

IronNet is focused on enabling businesses across critical infrastructure, commercial and public sectors to apply AI-based behavioural threat detection techniques within their network environment.

Enterprise customers have the added capability with IronDome to anonymously share and receive real-time threat insights among peer organisations from within a secure ecosystem.

This level of collective threat intelligence allows organisations to detect and remediate previously unknown, stealthy threats, at scale and with fewer resources, IronNet states.

The company also employs a high percentage of former NSA cybersecurity operators with offensive and defensive cyber experience to integrate deep tradecraft knowledge into its products to solve the most challenging cyber problems facing the world today.
