Heng Leong Hang, a renowned retail brand with over 70 stores in Taiwan, has adopted the CyberArk Identity Security Platform as part of its evolving cybersecurity strategy. The implementation aims to enhance the company's defence of its core systems and customer data.

In the age of digitisation and the growing prevalence of artificial intelligence (AI), the retail industry faces mounting cybersecurity challenges. Heng Leong Hang acknowledges the significant exposure to cyber threats experienced by hundreds of its employees across Taiwan. As the retailer undergoes digital transformation, threats like theft of sensitive employee and customer information and risks to point-of-sale systems have become more acute.

Due to the frequency of cyber attacks on the company, there was a pressing need for improved management and control of privileged accounts, which are considered priority attack vectors.
