HackerOne launches PartnerOne to expand global cybersecurity access

Fri, 6th Sep 2024

HackerOne has launched its first channel partner programme, named PartnerOne, aimed at expanding global access to its human-powered cybersecurity solutions. The programme enables partners to offer HackerOne's services, including vulnerability disclosure, AI red teaming, Pentesting-as-a-Service, and regulatory compliance, to a wider audience.

Key partners in the initiative include GuidePoint Security and Softcat, both of whom will simplify enterprise access to HackerOne's security researcher community. Among other international partners joining the programme are APNT and BlueFort Security.

The PartnerOne programme is designed to cater to channel and technology partners, such as value-added resellers, solutions providers, and referral partners. The programme aims to provide streamlined access to HackerOne's solutions, implementing transparent pricing and support for partners, offering tools like online training, opportunity management, and lead source sharing.

John Addeo, Vice President of Global Channels at HackerOne, brings over two decades of experience in global enterprise IT and cybersecurity to lead the programme. Addeo highlighted the comprehensive support setup for partners as a key feature, including a simplified subscription-style pricing structure and one hundred per cent of bounty rewards directed to researchers.

"As the threat landscape grows, all industries are confronted with increasingly complex cybersecurity challenges. More complexity also means automated solutions might not always detect gaps that a bad actor could exploit," said Justin Iwaniszyn, Director of New and Emerging Alliances at GuidePoint Security. "HackerOne's solutions offer access to a global community of security researchers who find elusive, high-impact vulnerabilities, so customers stay ahead of emerging threats and remain compliant in an evolving regulatory landscape."

Remco Poortvliet, CTO at APNT, commented on the addition of HackerOne to their offerings: "With the addition of HackerOne, our customers have gained access to leading human-powered security solutions, which complement and extend our existing suite of offerings. Our customers can now access an extensive, global community of security researchers and benefit from AI red teaming, bug bounty programs, and penetration testing."

"Partnering with HackerOne was a no-brainer for Bluefort," stated David Henderson, CEO at BlueFort Security. "As our clients increasingly drove demand for vulnerability disclosure and bug bounty programs, we assessed the UK market and arrived at the conclusion that HackerOne's proposition and execution were the most complete. Coupled with a 100% channel-friendly partnership model, we are excited to build on the impressive traction that we have already made with HackerOne to solve these critical challenges for our customers."

Addeo elaborated on the importance of the programme for both partners and customers: "A rapidly evolving threat landscape has driven strong market demand for the adversarial testing skills, services, and risk reduction that only security researchers can provide. Expanding access to HackerOne across the channel enables our growing partner network to build an additional revenue opportunity and support their customers through increasingly complex cybersecurity challenges."

The launch of PartnerOne is part of HackerOne's ongoing efforts to expand its reach and adapt to the growing needs of the cybersecurity market. The company also recently reported a record-breaking Q2, with significant growth in its AI red teaming and pentesting businesses.
