Gallagher partners with Chubb China for growth strategy

Gallagher Security has announced a strategic partnership with Chubb China to enhance its growth and expansion efforts in the region.

The partnership announcement took place during the New Zealand-China Business Partnerships Ceremony in Guangzhou, where eight New Zealand companies, including Gallagher, underscored new cooperation agreements with their Chinese counterparts. This ceremony was part of a broader initiative to bolster economic and trade relationships between New Zealand and China.

The agreements from the event will involve new projects and product launches spanning multiple industries. New Zealand's Minister for Trade, Todd McClay, attended the event following his participation in the China International Import Expo in Shanghai, reflecting the growing commitment to strengthening bilateral ties.

Gallagher's partnership with Chubb China is intended to promote a range of Gallagher's security solutions in the Chinese market. These solutions include access control systems, perimeter security, intrusion detection, and cybersecurity offerings, all aimed at providing integrated security solutions to local consumers.

David Thean, Gallagher's General Manager for Asia, commented on the expectations for the new partnership: "Security trends in China are different compared to other North Asian countries.
