Exabeam named Leader in 2025 Gartner SIEM Magic Quadrant

Tue, 14th Oct 2025

Exabeam has been named as a Leader in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), marking its sixth appearance in this position.

Gartner recognition

The recognition from Gartner highlights Exabeam's ongoing presence in the SIEM market. This continual acknowledgement by a major industry analyst comes as the company integrates new capabilities and features, focusing on artificial intelligence (AI) and automation for security operations.

Pete Harteveld, Chief Executive Officer at Exabeam, commented on the recognition:

"We are honoured to be recognised in the Gartner Magic QuadrantTM for SIEM for the sixth time. Over the past year, we've made significant enhancements to the Exabeam New-Scale Security Operations Platform, including the launch of Exabeam Nova to bring generative AI into the hands of every security analyst. In our view, this recognition validates our commitment to delivering a scalable, AI-driven SIEM platform that empowers security teams to detect, investigate, and respond to threats with unmatched speed and precision."

Gartner evaluates vendors annually in the SIEM market based on their ability to execute and the completeness of their vision. The Magic Quadrant is used by organisations and security decision-makers globally to assess security solution providers' market presence, strengths, and ability to deliver on current and future security requirements.

AI and machine learning adoption

AI and automation continue to play a strong role in the positioning of Exabeam's technology. Steve Wilson, Chief AI and Product Officer at Exabeam, said:

"At Exabeam, machine learning and agentic AI are embedded into the foundation of how we deliver modern security operations. From automating security incident investigations with Exabeam Nova to delivering natural language search and automated dashboard creation, we're turning complexity into clarity for SOC and insider threat teams. With advanced AI agents and best-in-class machine learning behavioral models, we're redefining how modern SOCs operate through continuous innovation in AI and automation."

The Exabeam New-Scale Security Operations Platform has seen a number of updates over the past year. The platform now covers end-to-end threat detection, investigation, and response, with a cloud-native approach intended to streamline operations. More than 400 product features have been rolled out in the past twelve months, including components like Outcomes Navigator, Log Stream, an enhanced API developer experience, Threat Centre, and Exabeam Nova-a single workbench for analysts using agentic AI.

Strategic enhancements and partnerships

Exabeam has announced several major additions to its service and partnerships in recent months. The Nova Advisor Agent introduces a strategy agent for security operations centre (SOC) leadership, providing real-time strategic planning resources, communication tools for executive and board audiences, gap identification, and what-if scenario simulations. This aims to increase the ability of chief information security officers (CISOs) to defend security investments and support improvements.

Partnerships have also been formed with Cribl and DataBahn, with a focus on enabling customers to have greater control over data routing and improved prediction of SIEM storage and pipeline costs. Additional integration with Google Agentspace and Google Cloud Model Armour has allowed Exabeam to extend behavioural detections to uncover insider risks from AI agents and cloud infrastructures.

Exabeam claims its New-Scale Platform is the first security operations system to provide configurable peer benchmarking. This allows security leaders to compare and measure their own programmes against those of industry peers, with the goal of improving maturity and outcomes.

Industry context

Exabeam's placement coincides with the continuing evolution of the SIEM market, as demand for cloud-native and AI-automated solutions rises. The recent merger with LogRhythm, which was itself recognised as a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for SIEM nine times prior to 2024, is part of the background to the company's current focus and direction.

The acknowledgment by Gartner comes as security operations teams face increasingly complex environments and seek platforms capable of speeding detection and response using automation and advanced analytics. Exabeam has emphasised that both its product innovations and ecosystem partnerships are part of building a comprehensive response to these changing requirements.
