Eventus Security is expanding its partner network in India through its Global Partner Program, targeting regional partners, system integrators and IT service providers.

The expansion is part of a selective approach to partner recruitment in India and other markets where the company operates, including Southeast Asia, the Middle East and the United States.

Rather than building a broad list of channel relationships, Eventus is focusing on firms with established customer ties, existing security expertise or plans to build a cybersecurity services practice. The programme centres on joint assessment of customer requirements, solution design and post-deployment support.

In India, partners will have access to Eventus services including security operations centre services, managed XDR, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, penetration testing, red teaming, breach and attack simulation, digital forensics and incident response, cloud and application security, and governance, risk and compliance.

Partners will also receive technical training, pre-sales support, solution design assistance, joint marketing resources, deal registration and dedicated account management. Eventus said its security operations and customer-facing teams will remain involved through implementation and ongoing service delivery.

The move comes as managed cybersecurity services continue to attract companies that lack in-house specialist teams or want external support for monitoring, response and risk management. Channel models have become a common way for security providers to widen market coverage while relying on local partners for customer relationships and sector knowledge.

India is set to play a central role in the company's expansion plans. Eventus has its India headquarters in Mumbai, along with offices in Ahmedabad, Delhi and Kolkata, supported by a wider regional sales presence.

The business said local reach is a key part of the model, combining direct engagement with partners' market knowledge and customer access. The structure is designed to let partners add specialist cybersecurity services without giving up their primary customer relationships.

Vikas Somani, Vice President of Sales, India, at Eventus Security, outlined the company's position on the partnerships it wants to build.

"Enterprises increasingly need more than individual security solutions. They need partners who can bring together different elements of their security ecosystem, understand their evolving business and security priorities, and help them focus on what matters most. We want to work with partners who share that approach. The measure of a successful partnership for us is how well we serve the customer together, not how many names we add to a partner list," said Somani.

Selective expansion

The emphasis on a smaller group of partners suggests Eventus is trying to differentiate itself from programmes that prioritise scale. In managed security, large partner ecosystems can increase reach, but they can also create uneven service standards if providers and resellers are not closely aligned on delivery and support.

By limiting recruitment to selected partners, the company is aiming for a model in which joint design and customer management play a larger role than straightforward product resale. That approach reflects the structure of managed security contracts, which often involve long-term service delivery rather than one-off software or hardware sales.

Eventus describes itself as a managed security services provider with an AI-led operating model and round-the-clock security operations. Its wider business spans cyber resilience, incident response, offensive security, cloud security and governance, risk and compliance, with operations across India, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and the United States.

Channel opportunity

For system integrators and IT service providers, the expanded programme offers a way to add security services without building every function internally. Areas such as digital forensics, incident response and red teaming can require specialist staff and infrastructure that many regional providers do not maintain at scale.

This creates room for partnership models in which one company retains the customer relationship while another provides operational delivery. Eventus said its teams will continue to work alongside partners after implementation, pointing to a shared-delivery structure rather than a simple referral arrangement.

The same selective approach used in India will also guide partner relationships in Southeast Asia, the Middle East and the United States.
