DXC & Boomi partner to accelerate enterprise AI modernisation
DXC Technology and Boomi have entered a strategic partnership to accelerate enterprise modernisation and support organisations preparing for scale adoption of agentic artificial intelligence.
As part of the collaboration, DXC Technology has established a dedicated Boomi Centre of Excellence (COE) to act as an innovation centre focused on delivering best practices, reusable assets, and tested implementation patterns for clients spanning multiple industries.
Application modernisation
The partnership aims to provide enterprises with cloud-native integration solutions that facilitate the replacement of legacy middleware and promote efficient transformation. The joint initiative is designed to simplify the modernisation process for organisations prioritising seamless integration and operational continuity.
DXC Technology will deploy cloud-native integration solutions, working in tandem with leading enterprise platforms. This enables the creation of co-developed solutions and assets, making the process of modernisation more accessible and results-oriented for shared clients.
"Many enterprises today are overwhelmed by disconnected systems and technical debt, facing immense pressure to modernise while ensuring security, continuity and compliance," said T.R. Newcomb, Chief Revenue Officer at DXC Technology. "We're thrilled to partner with Boomi to help our customers accelerate their transformations, delivering seamless integration and AI agent management that positions them for success with agentic AI."
AI-driven migration and data readiness
The partnership also leverages Boomi's AI-powered automation platform in combination with DXC's engineering capabilities. This blend enables customers to unify critical operational systems across order management, inventory, logistics, and finance. The result is an increase in operational efficiency and the ability to execute faster decision-making processes.
Through these integrated solutions, enterprises can move away from disconnected system architectures and legacy technologies, promoting a cohesive IT ecosystem better suited for new digital and AI-driven requirements.
"Agentic transformation isn't a future trend - it's an enterprise imperative," said Steve Lucas, Chairman and CEO at Boomi. "Together with DXC, Boomi is helping customers replace outdated architectures with intelligent, agent-driven infrastructure that's faster to build, easier to govern, and ready for whatever's next. This partnership gives enterprises a direct path to modernization, automation, and long-term AI readiness."
Agentic transformation
The DXC and Boomi collaboration supports the adoption of agentic AI systems, particularly through the roll-out of Boomi Agentstudio. With experience in managing complex IT environments, DXC ensures that Boomi Agentstudio operates securely and intelligently across various client infrastructures, supporting the orchestration of AI agents at scale.
This component is considered central to enabling enterprises to handle emerging AI workloads and agent-driven processes, aiming for a unified orchestration layer for AI across the organisation.
Boomi Centre of Excellence
The newly formed Boomi COE within DXC will function as a delivery and innovation hub. It will provide clients with reusable assets, field enablement, and well-defined implementation blueprints to ensure a consistent and high-quality experience for enterprise modernisation projects in all geographies and sectors.
"The strategic partnership between Boomi and DXC isn't just about connecting systems - it's about reimagining how businesses run in an AI-first world," said Dan McAllister, SVP of Global Alliances at Boomi. "Together, we're collapsing complexity and accelerating transformation at the core of the enterprise."
This initiative is intended to help enterprises move beyond fragmented system environments and accelerate their transformation, with a focus on both immediate and long-term AI readiness across all facets of operations.
