CSC & CrowdStrike integrate to boost domain threat defence
CSC Digital Brand Services will integrate its domain security offerings into the CrowdStrike Falcon Adversary Intelligence platform to enhance the detection and enforcement processes against malicious domains.
Domain threats
Organisations continue to face increasing levels of cybercrime, with adversaries targeting digital assets, brands, and domain name system (DNS) infrastructure. Traditional security measures are often insufficient when it comes to protecting domain portfolios, resulting in vulnerabilities such as spoofing, impersonation, and unauthorised account access.
CSC and CrowdStrike are seeking to address these vulnerabilities by combining their domain security and threat intelligence capabilities. The integration connects CSC's offerings directly with CrowdStrike's Falcon platform, providing organisations with tools for rapid detection and enforcement regarding malicious online activity.
Integration details
The partnership allows clients to make use of the Recon capability within Falcon Adversary Intelligence, enabling identification of malicious domains that target their organisations. The integration also permits clients to immediately submit takedown requests to CSC, which then manages end-to-end enforcement and brand protection operations.
Clients can leverage CSC's expertise in managing domain portfolios, coordinating protection efforts, and enforcing against fraud, phishing, and impersonation campaigns through this single platform.
Industry perspectives
This partnership represents a significant leap in protecting corporations from sophisticated cyber attacks, including those powered by AI. By combining CSC's global enforcement expertise with CrowdStrike's intelligence and detection capabilities, we're delivering a proactive defence that starts at the domain level. Organisations now have seamless access to enforcement directly within the Falcon platform console.
This statement was made by Ihab Shraim, Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President of CSC's Digital Brand Services.
Vincent D'Angelo, CSC's Senior Director of Business Development, added,
At CSC, our mission is to protect the world's most trusted brands from impersonation and DNS threats. Together with CrowdStrike, we're equipping enterprises with the intelligence and resilience they need to stay ahead of evolving threats.
Addressing the broader industry context, Daniel Bernard, Chief Business Officer at CrowdStrike, stated,
Domain security is a board-level risk that too often gets overlooked. By bringing CSC into Recon, we're giving customers an integrated solution that unites threat intelligence and domain enforcement in one place. This partnership helps organisations stop adversaries faster by closing a critical gap in their digital risk surface.
Availability
CSC's offerings are now available for purchase on the CrowdStrike Marketplace, which serves as a platform for accessing security products compatible with CrowdStrike solutions.
Wider context
The partnership reflects a broader industry trend where organisations are increasingly investing in domain security and brand protection as part of their cybersecurity strategies. The focus is on identifying weaknesses in the protection of digital assets and deploying solutions that enable proactive measures against cyber threats that target brands online.
