Cork Cyber launches Vantage for unified cyber risk intelligence
Cork Cyber has unveiled Vantage, a cyber risk intelligence platform designed to help managed service providers (MSPs) and their clients assess, manage, and validate cyber risk. The new platform adds to Cork's existing solutions, which had focused on offering warranties, by providing broader insights into cyber resilience and business continuity within the IT channel.
Market shift
Cork Cyber's approach recognises that cyber risk affects business operations and financial outcomes, not just technical systems. The company has repositioned, reflecting a strategic shift from warranty-driven products into areas directly addressing operational visibility and accountability for organisations relying on MSPs. Vantage aims to move cybersecurity thinking from a focus on prevention alone to the ability to deliver proof of resilience and operational assurance.
"Cyber risk is no longer a technology issue, it's a visibility and accountability issue," said Dan Candee, CEO, Cork Cyber. "You can't navigate a ship blind. MSPs need a clear, actionable picture of their risk posture and the certainty that their protection works when a crisis hits. Vantage is the radar for your security tech stack. It enables unprecedented visibility to ensure a safe voyage, avoiding the hidden rocks that could breach your hull. This gives the channel the intelligence and financial confidence needed to deliver true resilience."
Unified visibility
Vantage provides integrated views of cyber risks across a wide set of tools, with the company reporting more than 100 integrations and visibility into 94% of the small and medium business (SMB) market. According to Cork Cyber, the platform analyses security environments encompassing over 22 million security stacks. This unified approach is intended to help service providers and their clients cut through complexity, prioritise risks, and validate protection measures, particularly in the face of evolving AI-driven threats and changes in cyber insurance costs.
Craig Bell, President of Onit, said, "The visibility within the Cork platform helps us see everything clearly, allowing us to uncover hidden risks, spot inefficiencies, and prioritise what matters most. It's given us a new level of confidence in both our operations and the protection we provide to clients."
Risk intelligence
The Vantage platform offers a vendor-agnostic perspective, consolidating intelligence from multiple sources such as common vulnerabilities, known exploited issues, and system configurations. This enables identification of risks including unpatched software, orphaned devices, and security misconfigurations. Cork Cyber argues that its agnostic approach resolves the problems associated with data fragmentation across legacy and cloud-centric platforms, bringing together information from both cloud and on-premises environments.
Reported outcomes from the platform include 94% visibility across client security configurations, identification of thousands of vulnerabilities ahead of potential disruption, savings of USD $1.4 million from endpoint and license reconciliation, and improved risk scoring and reporting for clients.
Financial assurance
With Cork Assurance, the company seeks to close the gap between cyber protection and business continuity. It provides MSPs the ability to demonstrate proof of resilience and maintain client operations during cyber incidents. The company reports a 100% claims paid rate to date, thousands of clients covered, an extremely low loss ratio, and a payout service level agreement of 60 minutes for initial funds.
Jason Makevich, Founder of Greenlight Cyber, said, "What impressed me most about Cork is the seamless integration with our existing systems. Cork's proactive alerts have been invaluable, enabling us to take immediate action and ensure our clients' systems are always secure."
Channel focus
The platform is positioned to help MSPs deliver measurable cyber resilience as a business metric, tying service delivery directly to client confidence and financial assurance. The company states that Vantage, when combined with Assurance, will enable partners to prove the effectiveness of their protection measures in tangible ways.
"Cork represents the next evolution in how the channel delivers value," added Candee. "Our partners are not just selling tools. They are delivering outcomes. Cork gives them the visibility, validation, and protection to back it up."
