CloudSEK partners Seed Group to bring AI cyber defences to GCC
CloudSEK has entered a strategic partnership with Seed Group, a company of The Private Office of Sheikh Saeed bin Ahmed Al Maktoum, to offer its AI-powered cyber threat intelligence technology in the Middle East. This move makes CloudSEK the first active Indian cybersecurity firm to partner with Seed Group, reflecting India's growing role in global cybersecurity markets.
Cyber ecosystem
Through its new partnership, CloudSEK aims to provide public- and private-sector organisations in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region with AI-driven cyber risk-management tools. These solutions promise to enable faster identification and mitigation of cyber threats, including threat intelligence, brand protection, attack-surface monitoring, and supply-chain risk management.
The Middle East continues to experience rising cyber threats as digital adoption increases. The Middle East cybersecurity market was valued at USD $16.75 billion in 2025 and is projected to grow to USD $26.04 billion by 2030 with a 9.2% compound annual growth rate. In the United Arab Emirates, over 200,000 cyberattacks occur daily, many targeting government agencies and financial organisations. The average cost of a data breach in the region reached USD $8.75 million in 2024, up nearly 10% from the previous year.
Regional expansion
CloudSEK's AI platform collects and analyses data from open, deep, and dark web sources to deliver real-time intelligence. The company's technology is designed to help organisations predict and respond to cyber risks before they escalate. It delivers solutions covering 170 use cases including brand monitoring, digital risk protection, attack surface monitoring, and supply chain security.
CloudSEK's proprietary engine has already been used by financial institutions to identify and prevent large-scale data breaches before attackers could act. The platform also helps organisations comply with increasingly complex regulatory requirements for cyber risk and data protection, providing visibility needed to address vulnerabilities across their digital ecosystem.
Partnership rationale
Seed Group provides business development support, local know-how and network access to companies entering the UAE and GCC markets. As the region reinforces its position as a commercial hub, demand for advanced cybersecurity services is increasing due to the growing number of attacks and their financial impact.
"CloudSEK's advanced cyber threat intelligence solutions provide organisations with a robust layer of digital assurance. Its AI platform emulates human cognition to scan, analyse, and neutralise threats across the surface, deep, and dark web with speed and precision. This kind of pre-emptive monitoring will help bolster Dubai's digital hub and open the door for broader regional cybersecurity advancements," said Hisham Al Gurg, CEO, Seed Group and The Private Office of Sheikh Saeed bin Ahmed Al Maktoum.
Indian capabilities
The collaboration marks a step for Indian cybersecurity firms in the region. CloudSEK was established in 2015 and has built a client base in financial services, energy, and insurance sectors. The company's ability to monitor threats proactively is positioned as a shift away from traditional detection-based security methods.
CloudSEK's expanded presence in the Middle East reflects international demand for cybersecurity products from Indian technology firms, as companies and governments seek scalable and cost-effective risk management.
"Partnering with Seed Group is a pivotal moment for CloudSEK as we expand into the GCC market. Being the first active Indian cybersecurity company to achieve this recognition underscores the trust and relevance of our technology as a top Cyber Threat Intelligence provider. Together with Seed Group, we are confident in enabling businesses and governments in the region to stay ahead of evolving cyber threats," said Rahul Sasi, Founder and CEO, CloudSEK.
