Check Point unveils AI-ready Exposure Management suite

Thu, 22nd Jan 2026

Check Point has launched a new Exposure Management product and published research that points to a widening gap between the number of security exposures organisations can identify and the number they can fix.

The company said its State of Exposure Management 2026 report found modern organisations identify more than 13,000 exposures per year. It said attackers can move from discovery to exploitation in hours. It said remediation often takes days or weeks and only 50 percent of known exposures are ever remediated.

Check Point described this as "exposure dwell time". It defined that as the window in which known and reachable weaknesses remain open long enough for attackers to act. The company said this reflects an execution gap rather than a lack of visibility.

New product

Check Point said Exposure Management turns exposure data into prioritised remediation actions. It said the product draws on Cyberint, Veriti and Check Point threat visibility.

The company said Exposure Management unifies threat intelligence, dark web insights, attack surface visibility, exploitability context and automated remediation. It framed the launch against increased attacker use of automation and AI.

"Security teams are flooded with intelligence but still struggle to turn insight into action and reduce risk using their existing security investments," said Yochai Corem, Vice President of Exposure Management, Check Point. "Exposure Management closes that gap by combining real-world threat intelligence with safe, automated remediation, helping organisations reduce risk faster while preparing for AI-driven attacks."

Remediation gap

Check Point said remediation remains slow and manual in many organisations. It pointed to disconnected tools, siloed teams and reliance on static severity scores. It said those factors leave critical exposures unaddressed.

The company said its approach aligns with Gartner's Continuous Threat Exposure Management framework. It described that framework as focusing on continuous correlation of attacker behaviour with enterprise assets.

Check Point said its product links intelligence, exposure context and remediation. It said this results in prioritisation of exposures that pose the greatest risk.

Integrations

Check Point said Exposure Management operates across existing environments. It said it integrates with more than 75 security controls and covers approximately 90 percent of the largest security vendors.

The company said the integrations span network, endpoint, cloud, email, identity and operating system layers. It said this reflects its Open Garden approach.

Three layers

Check Point said Exposure Management consists of three layers. It described the first as Threat Intelligence. It said it tracks active campaigns, exploited vulnerabilities, malicious infrastructure and high-risk indicators.

It described the second as Vulnerability Prioritisation. It said the platform discovers an organisation's attack surface with built-in scanners. It said it also integrates with industry-standard tools. It said it prioritises exposures based on exploitability, business context and existing security controls.

It described the third as Safe Remediation. It said the platform can reconfigure existing security controls through APIs. It listed virtual patching, IPS activation and indicator enforcement as examples of validated actions.

Industry view

Exposure management has become a focus area as security teams deal with large volumes of vulnerability and threat data from multiple tools.

"Exposure management has become essential as organisations struggle to operationalise vulnerability data," said Michelle Abraham, Senior Research Director, Security and Trust, IDC. "Check Point's approach stands out by combining deep intelligence, brand protection, and safe, automated mitigations to move from insight to action faster."

Check Point said Exposure Management is available immediately.
