Builder.ai partners with CyberArk to enhance cloud security

Mon, 17th Feb 2025

Builder.ai has chosen CyberArk to enhance security measures by securing and automating identity access across its multi-cloud environment.

Builder.ai operates an AI-powered software platform designed to enable users to rapidly develop web and mobile applications.

This model integrates reusable software components with advanced AI and a software assembly line concept to provide solutions for businesses of all sizes.

The expansion of Builder.ai's operations has led to a need for robust identity security solutions. The company seeks to secure its global resources while ensuring the security of its users and compliance with enterprise customer requirements.

CyberArk's Identity Security Platform has been deployed by Builder.ai to manage access across diverse user touchpoints, such as endpoints, browsers, and sessions. This centralised approach provides secure and efficient access for Builder.ai's growing user base.

Builder.ai anticipates approximately 2,500 internal users will benefit from secure and streamlined access to various resources upon full deployment of this system.

Additionally, the introduction of a modern privileged access management programme centred on CyberArk is expected to enhance cloud security with Zero Standing Privileges for high-risk access.

James Kelly, Global Head of Platform Support at Builder.ai, emphasised the commitment to secure innovation.

"Builder.ai is committed to empowering businesses with the tools they need to innovate securely. By partnering with CyberArk, we are not only enhancing our security posture but also streamlining access for our users."

"This collaboration allows us to maintain our focus on delivering high-quality, AI-driven software solutions while ensuring that sensitive data remains protected in an increasingly complex digital landscape," he said.

Matt Cohen, CEO of CyberArk, commented on the evolving nature of identity security. "Privileged access exists in every user, especially in AI-powered, cloud-native organisations. To manage and secure the identity-centric attack surface at cloud velocity, modern organisations need an automated platform approach based on Zero Standing Privileges."

"As the nature of identity changes, the way we secure identities must necessarily change. We're pleased that Builder.ai picked CyberArk to reimagine their approach to securing user access to the assets their business relies on," he said.
