AvePoint enhances platform to boost MSPs' data security
AvePoint has launched an enhanced version of its Elements platform to assist Managed Service Providers (MSPs) in the areas of data security, IT management, and operational efficiency.
The updated platform aims to modernise client, cloud, and tenant management. With an AI-enhanced platform, AvePoint seeks to transform how MSPs deliver their services, particularly focusing on data security. The platform is designed to support security-centric practices and capitalise on the growing need for cybersecurity solutions.
The company noted the significance of its channel business, which constitutes over half of its annual recurring revenue. The latest generation of AvePoint Elements provides partners with additional ongoing revenue opportunities through a unified platform.
"Our partners have a massive opportunity to unlock new recurring revenue streams through security, backup, workspace management and compliance services this year," said Coby Liang, Head of EMEA at AvePoint. "Our Elements Platform empowers MSPs to deploy standardised security and compliance configurations consistently across multiple tenants, helping them efficiently manage increasing data volumes and complex environments, thus driving growth and capitalising on the expanding cybersecurity market."
Research from Canalys suggests that over 90% of cybersecurity solutions will be delivered by partners in 2025. This insight informs AvePoint's strategy to enable MSPs to secure client data and expand service offerings within the current market landscape.
The enhancements provided by the Elements platform address several key areas for MSPs, including operational efficiency. The platform offers seamless API integrations and incorporates AvePoint's existing compliance and data protection capabilities. This integration is intended to streamline service delivery through automation and remote management, centralising governance and lifecycle management across tenant accounts.
AvePoint Elements also focuses on enhancing profitability by automating manual tasks and simplifying partner-customer transactions. This allows MSPs to concentrate on value-added services while reducing operational costs. The platform's support for multiple SaaS environments enables service providers to extend their market coverage and offer a comprehensive range of security and compliance services.
Further enhancements include the platform's scalable management features for multi-tenant configurations. MSPs can utilise the platform's automation capabilities to manage increasing data volumes, standardising onboarding processes for new clients.
The platform addresses security needs by offering robust threat protection and compliance monitoring from a centralised location. AvePoint Elements enhances visibility and automated policy enforcement, aiming to mitigate risks associated with non-compliance.
"MSPs have significant revenue opportunities surrounding multi-cloud data security and workspace management, especially when they offer more than one solution to their customers within a managed service," said Scott Sacket, Senior Vice President of Partner Strategy at AvePoint. "Through our private preview, partners have already seen a 40% increase in average revenue per user when they integrate more than two solutions into a managed service. On top of that, our private preview partners saw that time wasted on operations and infrastructure, which can take away from valuable service delivery and customer care, has already been reduced by 85%."
