Appdome has promoted Jamie Bertasi to President, putting her in charge of the company's global go-to-market and customer engagement functions.

Bertasi joined Appdome in 2023 and most recently served as Chief Customer Officer. In that role, she led the Customer Success and New Customer teams and helped expand the company's customer feedback efforts, contributing to 68 G2 leadership badges across 12 market segments, according to Appdome.

Her expanded remit brings sales, customer engagement, marketing, partnerships and commercial operations under one executive. Bertasi will continue to report to Chief Executive Officer Tom Tovar and work alongside other senior leaders, including Co-Creator and Chief Technology Officer Avi Yehuda and Chief Customer Officer Chris Roeckl.

The move also shifts operational responsibility within the leadership team, allowing Appdome's co-creators, Tovar and Yehuda, to focus more closely on product innovation, engineering and the development of the company's agentic models.

Appdome sells a mobile application security and fraud prevention platform for Android and iOS apps. The platform lets organisations add and manage more than 400 security, anti-fraud, anti-malware, bot defence and application programming interface protection features without software development kits or manual coding, the company said.

Tovar linked the appointment to broader business expansion and rising activity on the platform.

"Jamie's leadership established new standards for customer growth, operational excellence, and customer success at Appdome," said Tom Tovar, Co-Creator and Chief Executive Officer of Appdome. "As the AI tailwinds increasingly fill our sails, we're setting records in the number of builds and releases processed as well as the number of mobile apps, users, and transactions protected via our platform. There's an enormous opportunity to lead the agentic transformation of cyber globally. In this next phase of our growth, Jamie gives us the field leadership to scale our business and achieve any objective in front of us."

Before joining Appdome, Bertasi held senior operating roles at software and technology companies. She spent six years at Totango, where she served as President and Chief Operating Officer.

Earlier in her career, she was General Manager of Microsoft's software-as-a-service speech solutions business, which grew to USD $200 million in revenue during her tenure, according to the company. She also held sales and strategy leadership roles at Narrative, Homesuite and IBM.

Expanded role

Her promotion comes as cybersecurity and software companies adapt their commercial structures around artificial intelligence and automation. At Appdome, that means aligning customer-facing teams more closely with the company's mobile security, fraud prevention and bot defence efforts.

Bertasi said the new role reflects a broader shift in how customers approach security operations.

"The agentic age is just getting started, and I'm fully energized by Appdome's role in this new market and technological future," said Bertasi. "Global brands need to deliver end-to-end mobile app security and fraud prevention at agentic scale and speed, delegating work to intelligent systems that can carry out that work autonomously. I'm looking forward to bringing our value proposition to the global market and serving our customers and partners with even greater speed and impact."

Yehuda said the leadership change is designed to support both customer reach and internal product development as the company responds to AI-driven threats in mobile environments.

"Jamie understands that the work of cybersecurity is transforming, and for mobile brands to keep pace with AI-driven threats, they must adopt platforms that deliver protections at machine speed," said Avi Yehuda, Co-Creator and Chief Technology Officer of Appdome. "As we continue to push the boundaries of what our models and agents can do to deliver security, anti-fraud and bot defense in mobile apps, her go-to-market leadership will ensure our field teams can reach customers when and where they need us most and give us more freedom to innovate ahead of attackers to keep brands and businesses secure."
