Altia appoints Natalie Farr to drive EMEA sales & partnerships
Altia has appointed Natalie Farr as Director of Sales and Partnerships for EMEA in a move to expand its presence in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Natalie Farr will be responsible for leading commercial growth across the EMEA region, focusing on improving sales functions and processes while collaborating with global and product-specific teams to adopt best practices with a view to meeting customer needs.
Farr joins Altia with considerable experience in the fields of public safety, national security, and enterprise transformation. Her career began with UK police forces before she moved into senior roles at Microsoft, assisting with the transformation of law enforcement and defence organisations as part of the Public Safety and National Security division.
She later took on a leadership role at Google, gaining further expertise where technology, public service, and innovation intersect.
Rob Sinclair, Chief Executive Officer of Altia, said, "At Altia, we pride ourselves on delivering the best and most innovative tools to support our customers, and that starts with having the right people. We are incredibly excited to welcome Natalie to the team.
"Her exceptional experience, along with her ability to lead high-performing teams and build strategic partnerships, will be invaluable as we scale our presence internationally and continue to evolve our sales approach to meet the needs of our customers."
In her new position, Farr will be working with Altia's senior team to ensure that the company's technology solutions and services are closely matched to market demands and customer outcomes.
Speaking on her appointment, Natalie Farr said, "I've always found purpose in helping organisations that protect the public, and that's why I'm so excited to join Altia."
"I get a real buzz from creating tangible impact, and working in policing and justice is where I know I can make a meaningful difference. This role brings together everything I care about: innovative technology, frontline impact, and the opportunity to lead a global team."
Farr is also recognised as a strong supporter of diversity in technology. She regularly volunteers in schools to encourage young women to consider careers in STEM sectors and to promote gender diversity in technology and leadership roles.
The appointment of Farr comes during a period of growth for Altia, with the business having recently expanded into the Asia-Pacific region to support organisations managing investigations.
A key element of Farr's responsibilities will be to assist organisations across EMEA with the implementation and adoption of Altia's new investigative platform, Altia HQ, which was launched in June 2024.
The Altia HQ platform consolidates a suite of investigative modules intended to support complex case management, open source internet investigations, and covert operations. The platform aims to provide users with tools that address a broad range of operational needs and assist in developing efficient investigative processes.
