11:11 Systems named Cohesity's MSP Strategic Partner

11:11 Systems has been named Cohesity's FY2025 MSP Strategic Partner of the Year, recognising the companies' work in managed data protection and cyber resilience.

The award highlights 11:11 Systems' services built around Cohesity's data security and backup technology, including managed onsite backup, offsite replication and recovery, and immutable offsite backup copies designed to help customers respond to ransomware and other disruptions.

The partnership has developed into a set of joint offerings, including 11:11 DRaaS for Cohesity, Managed Backup for Cohesity, and 11:11 Cyber Vault for Cohesity. 11:11 Systems also pointed to its Cyber Recovery Platform, which includes clean room recovery as a virtual, on-demand service.

The recognition comes as service providers and software companies position themselves in a growing cyber recovery market, driven by more complex IT estates, tighter compliance requirements, and pressure to restore systems quickly after attacks or outages.

Joint offering

11:11 Systems and Cohesity have focused on combining managed services with modern data security tools so customers can protect critical applications and data without increasing the burden on internal teams. The offering centres on backup, replication, and tested recovery processes intended to reduce downtime and improve confidence in restoration.

Highlighted capabilities include fully managed onsite backup for internal IT teams, monitored offsite replication, on-demand recovery, and offsite immutable copies that help reduce the risk of backups being altered or encrypted during a cyberattack.

The partnership also includes validated recovery services aimed at helping customers restore operations after disruption. These services are becoming more important as businesses look beyond basic backup and place greater emphasis on whether data can be recovered in a usable state and within an acceptable timeframe.

Customer pressures

Businesses are facing a broader range of cyber and operational risks than in previous years. Distributed applications, hybrid infrastructure, and stretched IT teams have made backup and recovery a board-level issue in many organisations, particularly where prolonged downtime can affect revenue, compliance, or customer trust.

That has increased demand for managed services layered on specialist software platforms. Providers such as 11:11 Systems aim to reduce customers' day-to-day management burden while giving them access to offsite recovery, cyber vaulting, and related services that might otherwise require in-house expertise and investment.

As the relationship matured, 11:11 Systems expanded the range of services built on Cohesity's platform to address both operational and regulatory demands. One area it highlighted was lower-cost storage for protected data while still meeting compliance requirements, a point it linked to the Cyber Vault product.

The company also argued that the partnership gives customers broader access to end-to-end cyber protection, detection, and recovery services. That reflects a wider industry shift, with backup providers increasingly expected to support incident response and recovery planning rather than simply store data copies.

Orsini said customers are under pressure from a combination of cyber threats and operational strain. "The pace and impact of cyber threats are only accelerating. Many of the organisations we work with are navigating distributed applications and data, increasing regulatory and compliance requirements, and resource-constrained teams who can't afford downtime or data loss," he said.

He added that the recognition reflects 11:11 Systems' standing within Cohesity's partner network. "Being named MSP Strategic Partner of the Year signals that Cohesity sees 11:11 as a trusted extension of their own team in tackling these challenges," Orsini said.
