Zyxel unveils Nebula 19.30 for advanced MSP management

Zyxel Networks has released Nebula 19.30 with new cross-organisation multi-tenant management features aimed at managed service providers.

The update adds tools in the company's Nebula Cloud Networking Solution that focus on administration across multiple customer environments. Zyxel Networks also flagged the USG LITE 60AX Security Router as part of the wider Nebula ecosystem.

Nebula is Zyxel Networks' cloud management platform for networking devices. The company said Nebula 19.30 targets operational challenges that service providers face when they manage multiple customers, sites and device fleets.

Multi-tenant tools

Zyxel Networks said Nebula 19.30 introduces cross-organisation management capabilities through its control centre. The release includes updates that focus on workflows, visibility and user administration.

For deployment and maintenance, the company highlighted configuration templates. Zyxel Networks said the templates sync settings across multiple sites within an organisation and mirror future changes automatically.

The company also described full-site replication. This feature clones an existing site and applies predefined settings such as WiFi SSIDs, switch port profiles and VPN policies. Zyxel Networks said this reduces the time spent on manual onboarding.

Nebula 19.30 also includes backup and restore functions. Zyxel Networks said administrators can back up sites in bulk, schedule backups and use quick restore or rollback during troubleshooting.

Portal visibility

Zyxel Networks said Nebula 19.30 consolidates information that previously sat across different areas of the platform. The company highlighted a refreshed MSP Portal that displays organisation, site and device status in a single view.

The update also adds an inventory overview across customers, including devices and licences. Zyxel Networks said the platform now provides organisation-level change logs with records of changes.

Access controls

The company also pointed to security and collaboration functions aimed at MSP teams. Zyxel Networks said Nebula 19.30 includes role-based access control through its Admins & Teams feature.

Zyxel Networks said the release includes options for onboarding and offboarding staff. It also described customer grouping features for managing customers with similar requirements.

Router integration

Alongside the software release, Zyxel Networks highlighted its USG LITE 60AX Security Router. The company positioned the device for small businesses and remote workers.

Zyxel Networks said the router includes built-in Wi-Fi 6 and subscription-free security features. The company also said the USG LITE 60AX now features Dual-WAN for network failover and includes a security suite.

Zyxel Networks said it has more than 100 Nebula-compatible products across wired, wireless, security and mobile FWA categories. The company framed that portfolio as a broad platform for managed service providers that standardise on Nebula for cloud management.

Zyxel Networks said Nebula 19.30 focuses on cross-organisation workflows and administration within the MSP Portal, with the USG LITE 60AX positioned as part of the updated Nebula environment.
