Ziften enters Germany and Netherlands to disrupt cybersecurity markets
Wed, 30th May 2018
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Ziften has extended its reach into European cybersecurity markets after announcing two major partnerships to carry its Microsoft Azure-powered endpoint security solution.

The company is establishing a presence in both the Netherlands and Germany after sealing partnerships with InSpark (a full service technology provider assisting with strategy to on-going management and support services for the Ziften Zenith security platform) and sepago (an IT services and solutions provider to assist with the planning, implementation and operation and support services for the Ziften Zenith security platform) respectively.

This announcement comes on the heels of Ziften's strategic collaboration with Microsoft to integrate the company's endpoint detection and response (EDR) platform with Windows Defender ATP, resulting in a cloud-based ‘single pane of glass' to detect, view and respond to cyberattacks.

Commenting on the Europe expansion, Ziften worldwide channels SVP Greg McCreight says the company is 100 percent focused on delivering customer value through channel partners.

“With our Fast Start program, we provide hands-on partnership to existing Microsoft channel partners, rapidly enabling them to solve customer's post-breach security challenges,” says McCreight.

“InSpark and sepago are among the first joint Ziften and Microsoft security partners in EMEA giving us a huge opportunity working together to disrupt the endpoint security market in the Netherlands and Germany. Working with these companies, leading Microsoft digital transformation partners and security experts, we expect to achieve quick success in the market.

InSpark lead consultant modern workplace Ronny de Jong says they immediately saw the value in teaming with ZIften.

“It is a perfect cybersecurity fit for our customers who stand to benefit from the seamless integration between Zenith and Windows Defender ATP giving them end-to-end protection and visibility across their Windows and non-Windows systems,” says de Jong.

“We expect immediate success offering this unique security solution to our customers and providing the necessary full life-cycle services for the Ziften security solution.

sepago managing director Paul Luetke Wissing says teaming with Ziften to offer their Zenith security platform integrated with Microsoft Windows Defender ATP was a perfect business and technology fit.

“All our customers stand to benefit from the seamless integration between Zenith and Windows Defender ATP giving them protection and deep visibility across their Windows and non-Windows systems,” says Luetke Wissing.

“Ziften has been easy to work with, and supportive throughout the entire process. We expect to be extremely successful offering this powerful security solution to our customers and providing the planning, implementation, operation and support services for the Ziften security solution.

Some additional benefits Ziften expects from its new partnerships and the integrated cloud-powered approach are:

  • Extend Windows Defender ATP to any asset, anywhere across Windows, macOS and Linux systems
  • Secure multi-cloud, Windows and Linux environments
  • Customers can instantaneously search 6 months of rich machine timeline unifying security events
