Westcon-Comstor & CrowdStrike expand Falcon platform in Singapore
Westcon-Comstor and CrowdStrike have entered into a distribution agreement to bring the CrowdStrike Falcon platform to partners and customers in Singapore.
The agreement marks an expansion of Westcon-Comstor's partnership with CrowdStrike, extending an existing collaboration already in place in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand. The aim is to meet the growing demand in Singapore for cybersecurity consolidation and cloud-native security solutions, driven by increasingly sophisticated and AI-driven security threats.
Singapore market opportunity
Westcon-Comstor will offer its partner network access to the suite of CrowdStrike solutions, including Endpoint Security, Falcon Cloud Security, Falcon Next-Gen Identity Security, and Falcon Next-Gen SIEM. These products are designed to address modern cybersecurity challenges, particularly those posed by the rise in targeted attacks on critical infrastructure and organisations grappling with digital complexity.
The company intends to support a range of existing and new customers, from enterprise and corporate clients to small and medium businesses. To further streamline deployment, Westcon-Comstor will make the Falcon platform available via Channel Partner Private Offers and private listings on the AWS Marketplace, leveraging its status as an AWS Designated Seller of Record.
Westcon-Comstor, a specialist distributor and technology provider, plans to deliver additional value-added services in conjunction with the Falcon platform. This includes technical enablement, upskilling support, and data-driven insights tailored to strengthen CrowdStrike's channel ecosystem in the region.
Leadership comments
"Singapore's digitalisation drive has raised the bar for infrastructure and cybersecurity, putting pressure on businesses to modernise quickly. By providing a streamlined route with hands-on support, we aim to unlock significant new growth opportunities for both CrowdStrike and channel partners. Our role is crucial in helping businesses consolidate their security and stay secure without getting overwhelmed, driving adoption of CrowdStrike solutions while creating revenue opportunities for channel partners in the process," said Jacquie Young, Managing Director, Cloud, APAC, at Westcon-Comstor.
"Expanding our partnership with Westcon-Comstor to Singapore strengthens our channel reach and partner-first strategy in the region, while providing Westcon-Comstor's partners and customers with cybersecurity's platform of choice for the agentic era. Together, we will accelerate adoption of the AI-native Falcon platform, enabling our partners to drive vendor consolidation, reduce security complexity and costs, and stop breaches with a truly agentic security platform," said Girsih Gargeshwari, Senior Director, Distribution and Alliances, CrowdStrike Asia Pacific and Japan.
Recognition and expansion
Westcon-Comstor received the title of 2024 CrowdStrike Global Distributor Partner of the Year, an acknowledgement of its performance in promoting adoption of the Falcon platform across its network of over 12,000 channel partners in EMEA and APAC.
The expanded agreement between Westcon-Comstor and CrowdStrike in Singapore is expected to help organisations in the country respond to the increasing demands of digitalisation, and the need for consolidated, cloud-native cybersecurity solutions.
